from what I can remember he didn’t have a very happy childhood. one of those kids who grows up ashamed of their humanity after what they’ve experienced, it’s not uncommon. he had testicular cancer also, adding to his weight issue. it’s not most people’s thing but it’s what’s right to him, I’d have referred him to a therapist sooner than operate, but he’s happy with his kitty face.
